Abled Seed, a special unit for differently abled students at the Oxford Internal School in Kishanganj, is committed to providing inclusive education to Reshma Soren, a deaf and mute individual from Bandarbari. Reshma’s admission to this unit is an essential step towards her integration with common students.
Given the unique challenges faced by Reshma, Abled Seed recognizes that she requires specialized teaching, material tools, and support to excel academically and socially. Abled Seed aims to provide the necessary resources and training to Reshma and other differently-abled students to enable them to become confident, independent, and productive members of society.
While Reshma’s parents work as daily wage laborers and are facing financial constraints, they remain committed to their daughter’s education. Abled Seed, along with the support of the community, seeks to provide financial assistance to Reshma, covering her academic expenses. In this way, Reshma can continue her studies uninterrupted and pursue her academic and personal growth.
We believe that by providing inclusive education to Reshma and other differently-abled students, we can contribute to creating a more equitable and just society that empowers every individual, regardless of their abilities. We welcome any support towards this endeavor and thank everyone for their contribution and effort in making education inclusive for all.
